Do I need to create an account to use Gracewell?
No. Gracewell works without creating a traditional account. Some Together features rely on iCloud being available on your device.
Does Gracewell work offline?
Yes. Core reading, journaling, and much of the editorial content work offline. Together syncing and notifications may require connectivity and iCloud availability.
Can I choose a different Bible translation than the app language?
Yes. App language and Bible translation are separate. Open Settings → Preferred Translation to preview and save a different Bible version.
How does Together work?
Together lets you invite one trusted person for shared prayer, guided sessions, shared paths, and simple spiritual rhythms. iCloud is required for the live invite and sync experience.
How do I restore or manage my subscription?
Open Gracewell → Settings → Subscription. You can restore purchases there, and active subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings.
What is the Guide?
The Guide offers Scripture-rooted reflection and prayer support. It is not a pastor, therapist, crisis service, or spiritual authority.
Troubleshooting
Together invite or sync is not working
- Make sure iCloud is enabled on the device.
- Confirm both devices are signed into the expected Apple ID.
- Open Gracewell again and wait a moment for sync to catch up.
Bible translation or language looks wrong
- Check Settings → Language for app language.
- Check Settings → Preferred Translation for Bible version.
- If you changed either setting recently, fully reopen the screen you were on.
Voice reflections are not transcribing
- Confirm Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are enabled for Gracewell.
- Try closing and reopening the editor.
- Make sure the device has a stable internet connection if system speech services need it.
